The Google Story - An Inspiring Journey in Time

The story behind a success always makes for good reading. And, if such a story is presented like a drama, interspersed with audacious ambition, envy, struggle for control, rivalry, lawsuits, accusations, counter-accusations, and some humour, it would most likely make for some very engrossing reading. To top it all, this is not a work of fiction - in fact, it is not even a dramatization of reality. It is a chronicle of events that happened behind the scenes of what in the words of the author is the 'hottest business, media and technology success of our time'.

A healthy news industry is important for Google and our partners, and it is essential to a free society.

Chrome and Google Apps

Google, Kuzey Kore’yi Daha Fazla Gösterecek....

Google, yeni haritanın, Kuzey Kore'nin 2009'a ait uydu resimleri ve diğer kamu bilgileri ışığında yapıldığını kaydetti.

Haritanın ayrıca hükümetin cezaevi olarak kullandığı 4 bölgeyi de gösterdiği bildiriliyor.

Haritada bu bölgeleri ziyaret eden kişiler tarafından çekilen fotoğrafların da mevcut olduğu belirtildi.

Şirket, haritanın mükemmel olmadığını, ancak geliştirme sürecinin devam ettiğini kaydetti.

Google map hizmetinde düne kadar Kuzey Kore'de çok az yer görülebiliyordu.

Google Başkanı Eric Schmidt, internet kullanıcılarına katı kısıtlamalar uygulayan Kuzey Kore'yi bu ayın başında ziyaret etmişti...

YouTube’ta Büyük Değişim?

Geçen sene video sayfalarını değiştiren site, bu kez kanal sayfalarında değişiklik yapmayı düşünüyor.

Video sayfalarını temel alan yeni tasarım, Google'ın sosyal ağı Google+'tan da ilham alıyor. Dolayısıyla yeni tasarımda beyaz renklerdaha çok öne çıkıyor. Şimdiye kadar sitede dolaşmamızı sağlayan siyahçubuklar ise tamamen ortadan kaldırılmış.

Bunun yanında kanallarda bir duvar kağıdı kullanmak da şu an mümkün değil. Yeni tasarımdaki giriş resminin TV'lerdahil tüm cihazlarda düzgün görünebilmesi için 2.120 x 1.192 pikselölçülerinde olması gerekiyor. Bu resim üzerinde Facebook, Twitter vediğer yeni işlevler görüntüleniyor.
