Tech siteTechCrunch has predicted a more picture-heavy look, with separate feeds for music and other interests - and more adverts. 

Others have predicted a new look for Facebook's mobile apps.

The revamp is to be unveiled at an event in California scheduled for 10AM PST, 6pm GMT, with an invitation which says, "Come see a new look for News Feed."

The revamp is likely to be controversial - even tiny changes to Facebook cause storms of protest, often conducted on Facebook itself. 

The last 'revamp' of News Feed in September 2011 added adverts directly into the feed. 

"I suspect they will try and clean it all up," says Stuart Miles of UK technology site Pocket-Lint. "It's all a bit clogged at the moment."

Gartner analyst Brian Blau predicted that the changes would be targeted at the mobile versions of Facebook, aimed to make the iPhone and Android versions more similar to the PC.

"Maybe this is a way to bring some of that together," he said.

Developers and 'inside sources' speaking to tech site TechCrunch claimed that the revamp would feature bigger pictures on the page, and several separate News Feeds. 

Users will be able to hop between separate feeds for Music and Phototgraphs, the site claims - making it easier for advertisers to target niche audiences.

(Reuters) - Facebook Inc (FB.O) will unveil a new look for its popular "newsfeed" next week, the latest move by the Web company to revamp key elements of its 1 billion member social network.

The commercial supply ship Dragon has arrived at the International Space Station after a shaky start.

Station astronauts used a Canadian robotics arm on Sunday morning to latch onto the supply ship.

The California-based SpaceX company had to struggle with the Dragon following Friday's launch from the Cape Canaveral Air Force station in Florida.

A clogged pressure line or stuck valve prevented the Dragon's thrusters from working, and it took flight controllers several hours to gain control and salvage the mission.

Car Slams Into Insurance Agency Building.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - A man is in the hospital after his SUV slams into a building early Sunday morning.

The car slammed into the Select One Insurance Agencies at 4592 Plainfield Avenue around 2 a.m.

Police tell Newschannel 3 the 28-year-old driver was taken to Butterworth Hospital with head injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.

Police also say they believe alcohol was a factor in this crash and charges could be pending.

There was no one else in the car with him at the time.

The crash is still under investigation.

When asked to rate the SBC against other common sources of health plan information, these consumers ranked the SBC above other sources - like employer provided health plan comparisons - in terms of helpfulness.
